My FIRST Birthday!!!

Saturday, August 22 was my 1st birthday! Here I am in the morning with Mommy, already excited for the big day ahead!

Uncle Chris and Auntie Jess and Baby Connor (in Auntie Jess' tummy) came over to help celebrate!

Grandpa and I enjoyed playing outside a lot today. It was one of the most gorgeous summer days we've had!

Murphy and I played together too.

This is the birthday flag my Great-Grandma Johnson made when Mommy and Uncle Chris were little. They flew the flag every year growing up and I hope to have the same tradition!

Mommy made the alligator cupcake cake again!

I LOVED Daddy's barbecued beans! I ate so many, everyone couldn't believe it! Here's GranJan, Poppy, me, Grandpa and Grandma enjoying our dinner! Poppy smoked a brisket and some ribs that were really good too.

I had so much fun visiting GranJan and Poppy this week! We got to do lots of fun things. Here I am gardening after I did a big face plant in the dirt!

Savoring Summer...

Celebrating My 1st Birthday a Bit Early

Even though my birthday isn't until the 22nd, I had some of my buddies over for a "birthday playdate" today. We celebrated by playing and eating cupcakes.

I LOVE SWEETS! I devoured my cupcake and loved every bit of it!

I can't wait for my actual birthday, hopefully I will get more cake then!
