We had a family movie night with Mommy and Daddy Friday night!  We watched the movie, Monsters Inc. and I LOVED it because I love monsters and scary stuff!  Max lasted for a little while, but then he had to go to bed.
Then we had a family bowling night with the Eckert's.  Daddy and I loved this popcorn!

Babies, Baths and Best Buds

Our snowman family we made.  When we got done, I said, "We forgot to make Murphy!"
We went to Topeka last weekend to see Poppy and eat at his favorite restaurant, The Pad, for his birthday!  This is their famous pork tender sandwich, yum!
 Buds!
Mommy got to meet her friend, Katherine's new baby - Charlotte - while in Topeka last weekend.  What a beautiful baby girl, look at that hair!
Charlotte and her Auntie, Elizabeth, who is Katherine's twin sister.
Back at home- Max and I both LOVE Mommy's purple water.  It is our favorite and we are always looking for it when we're thirsty.
Max and I had a little jam session in the basement, I let him borrow my electric guitar.
How Much Is That Doggie in the Window - is my favorite song to play on the sax
 Maxy jammin on the guitar
Rub a Dub Dub - 3 men in a tub and who do you think they be?!  Cousin Connor came over and to play on Wednesday and we got to all take a bath together!
Except sweet Baby Cousin Grayson, he was sleeping peacefully, what a sweet baby boy!
 Hugs for Cousin Connor!
Tuckered out!  Mommy thought this was funny because she went in to check on Max and he had lined up all his animals in a row, just like I do in my bed!  He watches everything I do!  The only thing was that Mommy accidentally woke him up when she went in to take a picture.  Oops!

New Year's Day and Experiments

We went over to Connor and Grayson's house to celebrate Christmas with them on New Year's Day.  Max loved playing with Connor's vacuum!
Max also loved hanging out with the littlest cousin, Grayson.
They were so sweet together.  Max loves babies like I do!
Uncle Chris and Connor - so sweet.
Connor and Grayson gave Max this cute new doggie.
And they gave me my very own CD player!  I can't tell you how many times I've listened to "Stuck Like Glue" by Sugarland and "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story.  Those are my two most favorite songs in the whole world!
Experiment #1 - pinecone birdfeeders with peanut butter and bird seed.  We waited a few days and the birds didn't seem to be finding our new feeder.  Then one morning this week during breakfast, Mommy looked out the window and there was a squirrel hanging upside down eating the peanut butter as fast as he could.  It was SUCH good entertainment during breakfast.  We thought it was hilarious!  Later, we saw that there was a whole pinecone missing!  We've got to add more peanut butter for the squirrels - turned into a squirrel feeder instead of a bird feeder.
 Mommy and her baby boys!
Experiment #2 - Safari Sponge Animals - I wanted for one of them to be a lion so bad.  Lucky for me, the very last capsule we tried turned into a lion!
Max liked this sponge animal experiment too!
Experiment #3 - This one sounds really weird, but it was actually super fun!  I've been wanting snow so bad and it hasn't snowed at all (til a tiny bit today actually), so on Wednesday, we decided it was time to make our own snow.  You cut open a diaper and pour the contents into a bowl and add lots of water.  It turns into a slushy substance that looks like snow.  We decided to color ours purple too.  SO cool!

Experiement #4 - Making a marching band hat.  I want to be in a marching band like Caillou.  I asked Mommy to make me a marching band hat.  This was her attempt at it.  I helped pour on the glitter.  What do you think?  Daddy said I looked like the pope.

New Year's Eve!

We had a super family fun night on New Year's Eve!  It was about 60 degrees that day, such a beautiful day!  We headed down to Crown Center to check out all the cool Christmas stuff there.  They had tons of wooden cars, trains, fire trucks, etc. set up outside by the Mayor's tree that you could play on.
 Max sat on the train.
 I love it here!
Checking out the fountains with Daddy
 And with Mommy
 Max liked the red car
We rode this blue rocking horse together - look at the wind blowing Maxy's hair
"Mommy, can I PLEASE, PLEASE go in the fountains?  I want to run through them!"  Mommy said it was way too cold and Daddy said we wouldn't be able to eat dinner at the train restaurant if I went through them, so I didn't.  I really wanted to, though.  Maybe when it's warm out we can go back!
This gingerbread land inside was pretty cool.
Everything was made of gingerbread houses and candy.
And now for the best part!  Dinner at Fritz's - the "train restaurant"!  It is so neat because it looks like you are on a train and there are real trains on tracks that deliver the food to your table.  Max and I had been with Mommy before, but Daddy had never been.
Daddy is calling in our order to the train conductor.
 Is our train coming yet?
Oh, bummer, that was someone else's...
 But look!  Here is ours!
And there the train goes after delivering our food.  After dinner, we drove through the Plaza to look at the lights.  I loved all the Plaza lights and seeing the real horsies taking people on carriage rides.  Then after driving through the Plaza, we went to Baskin Robbins and I got strawberry ice cream!  "Lucky boy" I say!
