Matt Ross Trunk or Treat

So many fun Halloween things lately!!  Tonight we went to the Matt Ross Community Center for their trunk or treat event.  We got there toward the end so we got TONS of candy!  They were just throwing it all over the floor and everyone was running to grab it, it was kind of crazy!  We posed with Daddy outside by this giant Frankenstein because Daddy loves Frankenstein and even has a mask at home!

Carving Pumpkins

We had a fun time with Reid and Emma playing in the leaves the other night, then we got to carve pumpkins!

Halloween Playdates

We had a couple fun Halloween playdates this past week.  The first one was at our house.

 The next playdate was at Reid and Emma's.  They had a super cool garage party!  This is a pic of me and Cooper.

Jesus Loves Me

Last week Mommy was gone one evening and so I helped Daddy out with the nightly routine with Max.  Usually Mommy rocks him and sings "Jesus Loves Me" to him.  Since Mommy wasn't there, I told Daddy I would rock Max and sing to him.  The next day before nap, I wanted to show Mommy how I rocked him and sang to him the night before.

First Overnight with Connor!

Last Friday, Connor had his first official overnight with us and he got to sleep in  my room in  my "drawer" (trundle bed).  GG got us all these matching Spiderman jammies, which we LOVE!  Before Connor came over, Max and I burned some energy outside, we were so excited for him to arrive that we just wanted to wait outside until he got there.

 Connor is here!!!  We had a pizza party and then Daddy made us a movie nest and we watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates (a new favorite show!)

Chatting with Connor... here is my drawer that he got to sleep in.  We talked and giggled til well past 9pm.  Mommy and Daddy had to come up a couple times to tell us to be quiet.  Then we both woke at 4am giggling and giggling.  Mommy had to come in and tell us to go back to sleep because it was still the middle of the night.  We slept til 7am.  It was awesome, I can't wait for Connor to have another overnight with us.  The next day we were riding our bikes to the park with Mommy after Connor left and I said to Mommy, "I just can't stop thinkin about Connor."

Pendleton Country Market with GG and Poppy

We had a great weekend!  We went to GG and Poppy's on Saturday for an overnight.  We went to a Topeka landmark, The North Star for dinner.  They had super yummy french fries and chicken tenders.  Mommy and Daddy loved their steaks.  When we got home, Poppy showed me how to make his extra special shakes. 

 

Today we played at GG and Poppy's in the morning and then we went to Pendleton's Country Market near Lawrence.  We got to take another hay ride!

 And my favorite thing they had was this "corn bath"... it was so awesome!  It was like a giant sandbox, but with corn instead.  Max and I loved it.  I wanted to stay in it all day.

What a great time we had with GG and Poppy!  We just love them so much!
