Reading My Book to Max
I wrote and made my first book all by myself (my idea too!) and here I am reading it to Max!
Let's Go Fly a Kite!
Last weekend when Mommy was in California, Daddy got us a kite to fly. We had so much fun with it at the park. Once Mommy got home, we wanted to show her how we do it. So here's Spidey and Baby Spidey flying the Spidey kite in our backyard.
And a few random pics at the end. Today we had art club at our house. Max had just woken from his nap when everyone arrived and was in a bit of a mood. He just wanted to be held by Mommy the whole time our friends were over (and wanted to put the Jakey costume on).
Cooper and Miss Erica doing handprint art.
These are the ones Max and I made. Mine is the butterfly and Max's is the sunshine.
Baby Spidey, even in the car...
And getting into Mommy's makeup... oops!

Season Premiere at Deanna Rose
One of our favorite places to visit in the spring/summer/fall is Deanna Rose. It just opened April 1st and this was our first visit of the season. It is the FIRST time we've ever been there in winter coats, hats and gloves! The nice thing about going on a cold spring day was that we were practically the only ones there!
Checking out the baby chicks
Feeding the goats...
Max has been talking and talking and talking about feeding the baby goats before our visit today... he was so excited!
All the baby goats were huddled together trying to keep warm... I liked going around petting them.
I got to go for a ride on "Jimmy" today. He was such a nice horse. We just had a really great day and it was one of those days that was just what a Mommy day should be!
To the Rescue!
It's no secret that Max and I LOVE being super heroes! I've moved on from Spiderman and am all about Batman these days. I do still like to be Spidey quite a bit too, though. Max is into Superman and Spidey. We've been making lots of good choices lately and filled the "warm fuzzy" bucket, so we each got to pick out a new superhero mask and gloves. We were checking the mail everyday, sometimes more than once a day to see when our new masks and gloves would arrive. This was on Monday when our masks arrived! We didn't have the new gloves yet when these pics were taken.
First Soccer Game - Go Cheetahs!
I am playing my first spring soccer this season with my buddies, Reid and Cooper. We are the Cheetahs! I played with Reid a couple falls ago, but we just liked sitting on the side picking the grass. This time, I did a great job getting out on the field. :) I kind of stayed to the outside of the pack, but I like to kick the ball if it happens to come my way.
Cooper and me on the sidelines. It's going to be a fun season!

Easter in Topeka
We had a really fun Easter in Topeka! We headed over after the train ride on Saturday. When we pulled in the driveway, we were so excited to find that GG and Poppy had put a brand new swing in the tree in their front yard... it is awesome!!
Look how HIGH we can go!
Coloring Easter eggs, of course.
And the Easter bunny hid the eggs outside this year because it was so nice out! We were surprised to find that the squirrels ate holes in a couple of the eggs and tried to get our candy!
We love our GG and Poppy SOOO much!! A favorite phase from the weekend was "There's nothin' better than poor old Poppy!" It started because we were talking about how I didn't have school on Monday, but "poor Poppy" had to go to school that day. Then it turned into "poor ole Poppy" and then I just started saying, "There's nothin better than poor ole Poppy!"
The little Max, ham-ing it up again!
GG's table looked so pretty. She used their wedding plates and made these cute flowers to hold jelly beans. We sure liked the jelly beans. And for dessert we got an Easter bunny ice cream cake that was so cute! I wish we had gotten pictures of it!
It was a wonderful weekend in Topeka, our favorite place to be!!
Easter Weekend
We had a very fun-filled Easter weekend! On Good Friday, we went to Union Station for the first time. It was so beautiful and big!
They had a cool train exhibit with lots of toy trains going around.
We went to Science City at Union Station for the first time. It was very cool! We went with our buddies, Noah and Cooper. Here's Max and Noah at the water table, which was a hit with everyone.
We all liked this thing where the balls would float above the cone.
And there was a real helicopter you could sit in!
We've got a new little "ham" in the family these days, Max! He's been making lots of silly faces for pictures lately.
On Saturday, we got to go on the Easter Train in Baldwin City with our friends, Xavier and Olivier. We had a blast! The train took us out to a spot where they did an egg hunt. Gregg, Olivier, Xavier and Natalie
Another cool thing was that we got to meet the Easter bunny on the train! Max was pretty scared, so Daddy had to hold him.
We filled our buckets! So fun!
