We decorated the house and got the Christmas tree yesterday. The boys were so excited to get everything all decorated. They also got to open these Christmas jammies, so I had to get some pics, of course. :)

Thanksgiving
We had such a nice Thanksgiving! We loved hosting and started the morning with mimosas (or orange juice and Sprite!)
Uncle Mark joined us from California. And GG and Poppy got to be with us too!
The boys absolutely looooved playing with Uncle Mark and were especially enthralled by his drone! :) He flew it at the house and we also went to the park a couple times and he played "chase" with them as they ran around the park and the drone chased them! The drone only got Maxy once when it kind of landed on his puppy hat and surprised him!
Daddy fried a turkey as usual! He loves his turkey frying tradition. He actually got 2 huge turkey breasts this year, but we only ended up needing one!
GG and her boys!
The whole Thanksgiving crew
What a Happy Turkey Day!!
Cole Playing Clocks
Cole came home after school a couple weeks ago and said he wanted to learn "that song he heard my cousin play." I had shown him a video of my cousin, David, playing Clocks. Cole and I sat down at the piano and looked up how to play Clocks on YouTube videos. He's been working really hard on it.
November Happenings
It's been a little while since I've updated the blog. Here are some pics of the fun things we've been up to in November.
Cole and Max created these robots with a kit that Coco gave Max for his birthday. After we dropped Cole off at school one chilly morning, we came home and Maxy said, "Mommy, can we sit by the fireplace and have hot chocolate?" Then he asked if I would take his picture. :)
We went to a mythic creatures exhibit at Prairie Fire Museum and Cole liked this big dragon... Maxy was a bit afraid of him, though.
A favorite game of the boys... "puppy and owner"
We went to a Paul Mesner puppet show and got these fun dragon puppets to make at home.
Max peeking out of his puppy bin! He loves all the puppies in his room.
Cole and Max each picked out items to fill a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child. They had so much fun picking out everything to go in their boxes and wrote notes for the children who will receive them.
Celebrating the completion of our "Fall Library Challenge" with buds, Noah and Cooper
Thanksgiving pilgrim hats at kindergarten
Thanksgiving table settings. Max made the turkeys. I made the feathers and the boys helped me write everyone's names. We hosted this year, which was a lot of fun!
Roller skating for the first time! We went with our buds, Cooper and Noah the day before Thanksgiving. The boys absolutely loved it. They had a little "pixie" class. They taught them how to skate, fall down without getting hurt and get up. They had such a blast!
They started out using these "skate mates" but Cole and Cooper didn't need them for long.

Maxy's 4 Year Interview
I just love this little Maxy to the the ends of the Earth. He is honestly sunshine every single day and I feel so blessed to get to be his Momma. He's always been my little shadow and sure knows how to capture my heart with his precious love.
Maxy's 4th Bday at school
Maxy got to celebrate his birthday at preschool too! They have a special trampoline that the birthday kid gets to jump on. I also got to go and read a story to the class. Max picked out a cute puppy Thanksgiving story at Barnes & Noble to give to the classroom. He also helped me make chocolate chip cut out cookies in the shape of dogs and dog houses. :)
Maxy's 4th Birthday!!
Maxy had the sweetest, "puppy-rific" 4th birthday! All he wanted for his birthday was to go to Topeka and go to "Puppies Galord" with GG, Poppy, Mommy, Daddy and Cole. He wanted to pick out 3 puppies from the huge display wall of stuffed animal puppies. He has been talking about it since he first saw it when we went there on Father's Day last June. When we walked in that day, he saw the whole wall of puppies and said, "Puppies Galord..." in such awe. He is just in love with all things puppy. We went over to Topeka Saturday afternoon after Craig got out of work. We stopped at GG and Poppy's first and they let him open some really cute puppy gifts. I especially love this puppy hat that he now wears all the time! :)
GG and Poppy also gave him a special puppy book.
Puppies Galord!!! Cole grabbed the birthday crown and brought it along for him to wear when we went to the toy store for him to pick out his 3 puppies. He chose quickly and didn't look back. He chose "Blackie", "Brownie" and "Spot."
Afterward, we went to his favorite Topeka restaurant (and Cole's)... Bobo's! The boys all sat at the counter.
Maxy and his special puppies... such puppy love!
The boys love to sit on the back of Poppy's truck... always have.
Back home on Sunday after we spent Saturday night in Topeka
A puppy cake for the bday boy! Connor, Grayson and Jack came over to celebrate with us.
And this week Max had Holden, Coco and Noah over with their puppies to play. :)
This pic is from last week.... Max had Grayson over for a playdate to celebrate Grayson's bday, which was the day before Max's. These sweet boys are such good buds.
