Colorado

We had an AWESOME family trip to Colorado the end of July/first of August. It was such a great time, we can't wait to go back again at some point!

Taught the boys how to make friendship bracelets on the car ride and also gave them giant candy necklaces to keep them busy! ;)

We made it to Georgetown! We stayed at my co-worker's condo and it was wonderful. She has such a nice place and the perfect location!
We rode the steam train in Georgetown the first day we got there, which was a beautiful ride!
The boys had fun playing pranks with this "magically melting poo" they found at the gift shop ;)

The lake behind the condo where we stayed

Cole's first time horseback riding! He and I got to ride at Keystone Stables. It was awesome, we rode our horses up a trail in the mountains. Cole's horse's name was Tiger and mine was Lester. Tiger was a really good horse and made for a nice and easy ride for Cole. You had to be 8 to ride so Max didn't get to go this time but hopefully the next!

Big hike after horseback riding, we hiked to 10,000 feet

Our favorite hang out spot in Frisco - the Foote's Rest. The boys had so much fun with this ring game that Craig built them one in the tree in the front yard when we got home from Colorado.

Lunch at the top of our hike and a tree fort we found up there

Guanella Pass Brewery in Georgetown - we loved how dog friendly it was in Colorado (esp Max loved it!) There were dogs in the brewery and dogs wherever we went and Max always liked to go pet them if it was ok with the owners

 Breck!

We got to meet up with some school friends who also happened to be in Breckenridge at the same time as us - Cal and Liza Kate and Mom, Sara Jane!

We drove Loveland Pass, which was a bit scary, and stopped at the continental divide for a pic

Mini golf, bungee trampoline, gondola and ski lift rides, alpine slide, alpine coaster, tubing and rock climbing at Peak 8 in Breckenridge! So fun!

Max bought the puppy under Love Puppy as a souvenir in Colorado. He named him "Smooth" and added him to the puppy collection that he sleeps with each night!
