Met GG and Poppy in Williamsburg for Poppy's bday on a treacherous night! Craig's car ended up getting stuck all weekend and we lost power!

Huge tree down at the end of our street
Craig and Cole camping out with the power out, it got down to 55 degrees in our house! They brought the birds down and Murphy and made a cozy nest by the fire. Max, Cookie and I stayed with friend, Max, and family!

 Snow fun with McM brothers

A ferris wheel ride with the C brothers!
 Drawing turtles with Noah
Chat and Chew book club at school!
Both Kiwi and Berry perched on Cole - Berry is finally letting Cole hold him more and more :)

Go Chiefs! So close to making it to Super Bowl - one game away!

Super Bowl watch party at our house for Cole and his buddies - unfortunately the Chiefs lost to the Patriots but it was a great game and the chiefs had an amazing season.

Building turtle traps for summer, def a turtle theme going on here
 Built a "clubhouse" for Cookie
Maxy decided to move to his own room. He was getting tired of Cole's alarm waking him in the morning. Cole sets his alarm at 6:35 every morning so he can get up and take care of his birds, read 20 minutes, practice piano and have enough time to get ready for school. Max usually sleeps as late as he can and then does his piano and reading after school usually. So Max and Cookie moved to one of the guest rooms on the other side of the house. He seems to be liking it and is excited to be in his own room. Cole, on the other hand, seems to miss having his brother share a room with him. He said his room felt empty now. We will see how long things last this way. They shared a room for over 3 years. I miss having them together because I liked hearing them talk before bed, but they still spend a lot of time in each other's rooms. I love how close they are, they really are best buddies.
Cole's bear drawing in middle - curriculum night at school
Family shield project - neat for Cole to research and learn about our family and hear some stories!

January 2019 - Georgia continued!

Georgia trip continued! Both boys were pretty much asleep at midnight, but we tried our best to wake them for the 10 second countdown! They made it, kind of! :)

Hiking and building forts in the woods, a favorite past time while in Georgia

Granny's Famous in Helen, GA! Couldn't help but think of Grandma Helen and wish she could have been with us! We called her famous chocolate sauce that she made for us every time we visited "Granny's Famous"
