Crawling On My Back

Here's my mode of transport - crawling on my back. I can get around wherever I want to go. I like looking at the world upside down.

My Poor Puppy!!!

My puppy broke his leg yesterday! Mommy, Murphy and I were playing in the basement. The doorbell rang and Murphy went to go check it out. All of the sudden, Mommy and I heard him crying and yelping. We went up to check on him and he was standing by the front door with his front leg sticking straight out and it didn't look right. We rushed him to the vet, and sure enough, he broke his leg all the way through the bone. It's a pretty bad break. We still don't know how he did it! He must have slipped and fell on the hard tile floor or jumped up and landed wrong. Anyway, he has a cast and we are supposed to keep him inactive for 6 weeks to avoid surgery. I don't know how we're going to do that! I feel so bad for my puppy!

I got to sign my puppy's cast. I hope his puppy friends get to sign it too.

7 Months Old!

Spring is here! And I'm 7 months old! I can sit really well on my own now. My newest trick is crawling on my back. I arch my back and push with my feet and head to scoot around on my back. Mommy and Daddy will have to get a video of me doing it so I can post it on my blog.

This is my new horsie on loan from Mary Ann. It's a really fun new toy! There is a horsie song that Mommy plays and I ride my horse (with a little help).

I got to try veggies for the first time! They were peas and, as you can see, I love them!!!

My mommy had to go to Orlando for a work trip, so it was just me, my daddy and my puppy. Daddy wasted no time in soliciting help and took me right to GranJan and Poppy's. We all have had so much fun! There are lots of fun toys to play with, and Poppy has been feeding me lots of cereal. Mommy comes home on Thursday, and I can't wait to give her a great giant kiss! Maybe she'll bring me something from Disney World. I've been a really good boy.
