I couldn't resist adding these recent pics from Alyssa, she takes such beautiful photos. These are a few she took when we went to dinner to celebrate Auntie Jess' birthday. It was such a nice evening, we sat outside and there was even a band playing.

Lovin' Summer!

Here are some pics from the past few weeks of this fun summer! We went to the Duck Derby on the Plaza where they dump a bunch of rubber duckies in the creek. I had fun on Daddy's shoulders checking out the big duckie.

Yummy breakfast! I have become somewhat pickier these days. A favorite one day is not good the next. Current likings: hot dogs (on and off), yogurt (on and off), blueberries, string cheese and peanut butter.

I've got to spend lots of time with Poppy this summer. We have the best time together. Here are some pics of us at the KC zoo. Poppy walks on water and if he's around, no one else (including Mommy and Daddy) can compare.

I got to hang out with some buddies over the 4th. These are mommies friends from college (Megan, Gretchen and Jessica - who was visiting from Texas). And all the kiddos - Avery, Nolan, Maya, Jackson and Cooper. I had a blast playing with everyone!

Mommy, Daddy and I had a picnic on the 4th of July and I got to practice my batting skills. I'm getting pretty good at swinging and hitting the ball!

Poppy, GG, Mommy and I went to pick blueberries last week. I absolutely loved it. Most of the blueberries I picked went into my mouth instead of in my bucket, though.

My bucket's not getting too full because I ate so many.

My buddy Jack came over to play the other day. We liked playing with the water table.

Today I went swimming with Mommy and Daddy. I liked playing in the baby pool with Daddy.

Mommy's cousin, Brett, and his new wife, Alyssa, were in town visiting on their way to South Carolina. Alyssa is a very talented photographer. She took some pictures of Mommy and me down on the Plaza this morning. They turned out wonderful!

MOUNTAINS!!

YEA!!!! It's finally time to go to the mountains with GG, Poppy, Auntie, Uncle, Connor, Mommy and Daddy. I helped Daddy pack.

It was a LONG drive out there, but Mommy and Daddy said I did a great job! GG and I took a car break somewhere out in windy western Kansas.

Time for me to help Poppy drive the rest of the way. I don't have a picture of this but the funniest thing was when we finally got to Keystone and I got out of the car. I kept saying, "We made it! We made it!" and pumping my fist in the air. I was all wound up and couldn't wait to check out my new surroundings.

Connor and I both had our baseball jammies on, so Mommy thought it would be cute to get a picture, but I just woke up and I do not feel like getting my picture taken.

I had the BEST time playing with my cousin, Connor. I also got many "special treats" on the trip - I especially love suckers. Now Mommy is trying to explain to me that we don't have suckers every day at home, it was just a special vacation treat.

More special treats - I walked all the way down Main Street in Breckenridge holding this ice cream cone and making a big mess, but I didn't care. It was the best.

Connor and I got to ride next to each other in the car part of the time we were there.

My VERY favorite thing to do in Colorado was to "touch the water" and throw rocks and sticks in. We spent hours and hours doing this.

Then we went down to Denver Saturday night for my 2nd cousin, Brett's, wedding.

Summertime!

Grandma Koshlap came to visit me a couple weeks ago and we got to play together lots. Here we are on my new playset. I love the "gator glider"!

I went to Deanna Rose with Mommy a few weeks ago and got to feed Mr. Goat. I was not scared one bit!

I also met the new baby cow that was only 3 weeks old!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to a hot air balloon festival. Unfortunately, this is all we saw of the balloons. As they were blowing them up, lightning came and they had to call it off. I hope we get to go next year. I was disappointed and said "lightning big balloons" the whole way home.

But I did get a yummy corn dog!
