Look Who's Two!!

I had a big birthday yesterday - I turned TWO! For weeks, Mommy has been telling me about this baseball cake I was going to get. Whenever someone asked me how old I was going to be, I would say "2... baseball cake!" So, here it is! Yummy! I ate 2 cupcakes, well, mostly just the frosting and then I threw the rest on the ground. I like frosting the best!
Here's the baseball glove and baseball cupcakes Mommy made. Grandma helped and it turns out Daddy had this same baseball cake for his 2nd birthday!

Saying "cheese" with Daddy! I had a little party at the park with my family and a few buddies.

One of my favorite new gifts - a red guitar from Auntie Donna, Uncle Mike and Ben!
Posing with Mommy in front of the birthday sign!
The birthday flag tradition!
Trying out my new trimmer - just like Daddy!
My new bike from GG and Poppy! I also got this wagon from Auntie Jess, Uncle Chris and Connor. Connor had fun riding in it!
Taking my new bike for a spin around the block! LOVE it!

Can Summer Last Forever?

Corn on the cob - yummy, yummy! One of my favorite songs is a Yo Gabba Gabba song that says "there's a party in my tummy... oh, yeah, oh, yeah!" I like to sing it when I eat yummy food.

In training to become a firefighter - which was perfect... because I got to tour a fire station this week! Wesley and Grayson let me borrow their fire gear.

Fingerpainting is fun, but I'm not sure I like the messy hands.

Here's Mommy and I at the fire station. We toured with our summer playgroup - we've been able to do lots of fun things! I was in awe of everything I saw and took it all in. I especially liked when they turned on the truck sirens and lights, even if it was a little loud.
Cameron, William and I got to stand up on the fire truck!
Afterward we went for some Happy Meals and Nolan and Maya joined us!
Helping Mommy and Daddy water the garden - we have SO many tomatoes - just waiting for them to turn red!

Crazy Hair!

Daddy's shoes are so fun to put on!
I'm teaching my cousin, Connor, how to play the drums.

I am obsessed with washing my hands. This little sink was PERFECT at Paradise Park. I washed my hands for 15 minutes straight. Here I am with my friend, Mallory. She likes to wash her hands too.

I just couldn't get enough!
Watch out, Reid - here we go!!
My hair gets really crazy especially when it's so hot out. It curls and becomes pretty much out of control. I have never had a haircut. Mommy won't let me because she doesn't want to cut the curls off.

Uncle Chris gave Connor crazy hair just like mine!

More Summer Fun

My favorite way to swing - on my belly! I also like to make myself dizzy by spinning around while laying on the swing like this and then untwisting really fast. I can't wait to go on roller coasters with Daddy someday!
My buddy, Reid and I are hanging out in my playhouse.

Chillin' with my Mommy's huge Sonic slush. (Daddy gave it to me and took this picture - don't tell Mommy.) It's been so hot lately, I like to be in my diaper and as little clothes as possible.

Checking out Clifford the Big Red Dog.
With Great-Grandpa Don in Ellinwood. Getting ready for the After Harvest parade to begin. Mommy used to go to this parade every year when she was little. It's the best small town parade!

Poppy was in the parade on his high school reunion float. He jumped off his float to give me a special treat - bubbles!

I love these bubbles from Poppy! I also got some beads and lots of candy!
I saw many things in the parade like horsies, carriages, farm equipment, trucks and neat cars.
It was super hot, but we still had a blast at the After Harvest Festival!

GG is teaching me how to play the piano.
I am LOVING my new football potty! Sometimes I make poo poos and pee pees. After I'm done, I always wipe the seat carefully with toilet paper, flush the toilet and watch it go bye-bye and wash my hands with my special soap!
Happy Birthday, Mommy! Daddy and I got Mommy a DQ Blizzard cake - it was so yummy!

Singing My ABC's

This past weekend we went to Ellinwood to visit my two great grandpas. We also got to go to the After Harvest Festival. I had such a good time. On the way out there, I passed the time by singing my ABC's.

A few more Alyssa pics

Does life get any sweeter than this? GG and her boys - Cole and Connor.
Upside down, Daddy!

HUG! This is what I like to say to my best buddy, Connor.
Soccer time!

Dancing to the music

Connor just chillin' in his high chair. I love this picture. :)

Up, up, up, GG!

I couldn't resist adding these recent pics from Alyssa, she takes such beautiful photos. These are a few she took when we went to dinner to celebrate Auntie Jess' birthday. It was such a nice evening, we sat outside and there was even a band playing.

Lovin' Summer!

Here are some pics from the past few weeks of this fun summer! We went to the Duck Derby on the Plaza where they dump a bunch of rubber duckies in the creek. I had fun on Daddy's shoulders checking out the big duckie.
Yummy breakfast! I have become somewhat pickier these days. A favorite one day is not good the next. Current likings: hot dogs (on and off), yogurt (on and off), blueberries, string cheese and peanut butter.

I've got to spend lots of time with Poppy this summer. We have the best time together. Here are some pics of us at the KC zoo. Poppy walks on water and if he's around, no one else (including Mommy and Daddy) can compare.

Poppy and I got to pet a llama.
Look at the big elephant. I can make the elephant noise and use my arm as a trunk.
I got to hang out with some buddies over the 4th. These are mommies friends from college (Megan, Gretchen and Jessica - who was visiting from Texas). And all the kiddos - Avery, Nolan, Maya, Jackson and Cooper. I had a blast playing with everyone!

Mommy, Daddy and I had a picnic on the 4th of July and I got to practice my batting skills. I'm getting pretty good at swinging and hitting the ball!
Happy 4th of July!

Poppy, GG, Mommy and I went to pick blueberries last week. I absolutely loved it. Most of the blueberries I picked went into my mouth instead of in my bucket, though.

My bucket's not getting too full because I ate so many.

My buddy Jack came over to play the other day. We liked playing with the water table.

Today I went swimming with Mommy and Daddy. I liked playing in the baby pool with Daddy.

Mommy and I swam in the big pool.
