Basketball

Here's a quick clip of one of my shots last week at basketball.

Poppy's Birthday

Mommy hasn't been taking too many pictures lately, like she usually does.  I guess she's saving up for when we go to Florida and Disney World later this week.  We sure are excited for our big trip!  We have a countdown on the frig that I made.  We'll have to take a picture of it and put it on the blog.  In the meantime, here's a few recent ones...
Cute Maxy asleep in his big boy bed with his best pal, Puppy, of course.
We had fun celebrating Poppy's birthday last weekend.  We went to Stroud's for some fried chicken and then had cake at our house.  We sure love our Poppy!
 Poppy and all his grandsons
 GG, Poppy and their boys
The other day, when we turned on the TV, we happened to see a lady making caramel apples and it looked so easy and delicious... so we decided to try.  Mommy decided it wasn't near as easy as the lady made it look on TV and I said, "but we had lots of fun making them, Mommy."  They actually were very tasty even though they weren't all that pretty.

First Basketball

I had my first basketball practice ever on Sunday.  I have been so very excited for it to start!  I woke up first thing that morning and put on my K-State basketball jersey and Gator shorts and even tucked the shirt in.  I was ready to go by 7:30am even though it didn't start til noon.

We practiced dribbling, shooting and passing.  I can't wait til next Sunday.  I was hoping I had basketball every day!

Little brothers, Noah and Max making silly faces!

Family Fun Night

We went to Family Fun Night at Paint Glaze and Fire last Friday night with some buddies.  It was lots of fun!  We got to paint a piece of pottery and have pizza.  Max and I decided to paint ice cream bowls.  We can't wait to pick them up after they've been fired in the kiln!

Reid opened the paint and it splattered all over him!  It didn't bother him one bit, though!
Cooper and Noah's cute family!  What a fun  night with our buds!

Max Can Read

This is from December.  I meant to post it and forgot.  This cracks us up.  Max is "reading"... actually he had this book memorized.  Poor little guy had a cold so his voice is a little hoarse.  :)

Creative Boys

Here are a few things us creative boys have been up to....
I wanted to write my full name and Max's too.
Daddy and I built this pirate cannon together.
And Daddy helped us build this trap that we hung from the ceiling.  (Inspired by Scooby Doo) I always have ideas about things I want to make and build.
We went to Home Depot Saturday and made these cool desk calendars.
I got a new airbrush marker kit and have been having a blast making pictures and shirts for Max and me!

It snowed last night and today Daddy and I went sledding for a little bit.  It was freezing cold (I think a high of 10 today!) so we didn't last very long.  We still had fun, though!

New Year's Eve

We started a family New Year's Eve tradition last year of going ice skating.  So we went again this year and Max got to ice skate for the first time.  (Last year he and Daddy just watched.)  It was actually a pretty nice day and not too cold, so that was nice.  Mommy and Daddy said Max and I did great!  Ice skating is NOT easy, but we kept on trying and didn't give up.

After ice skating we hung out by the warm fire pit!  Then we went to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner, Fortune Wok.  It was a fun family New Year's!
