Wave Crashin' on the 4th

4th of July (Day)

We had such a nice 4th of July at home.  In the morning, we did the neighborhood parade.  We decorated our Jeep and were pretty excited to ride it in the parade. 

 We met up with our new friends, Charlie and Mason, at the parade.  Our moms met at kindergarten roundup.  They have 2 boys the same age as Max and me.  We were all so excited to make such great new friends in the neighborhood!

Whack!

GG and Poppy cleaned out their basement and we were the lucky recipients of this foosball ("whack") table, some stilts, pogo sticks and a pop a shot basketball game.  We've been having SO much fun with these new things!!

Blueberry Picking

6th Annual Blueberry Picking

It is nearly impossible for Mommy to believe that this was my 6th annual blueberry picking adventure with GG and Poppy.  It's been such a nice summer so far.  We had a beautiful morning for picking and between the 5 of us, we picked almost 13 pounds of blueberries.  Not to worry, we will eat them all!  We've already eaten about half of ours and we froze the other half.  This is such a special summertime tradition, one of Mommy's favorites! 

Ice Cream Train

A couple weeks ago we did our annual "Ice Cream Train" ride.  I think this was our 3rd year going on it.  We had fun as usual, riding the train and eating ice cream sundaes.  The bonus was that it was a beautiful night this year, not at all hot and it also wasn't as crowded as usual.  What a fun night with the E family!
