Sleepover, Bugs, Hammers & Marbles

Last weekend we had my cousin Connor over for a sleepover!  I've been wanting to have him over for a sleepover for a long time now.  We had such a great time!  We had a pizza party and movie night with popcorn!
Daddy made a movie nest for us.  Even my baby brother, Max, joined us for part of the movie.
Max went to bed and Connor and I finished the movie - it was Fox and the Hound 2.  I love, love, love getting to have my cousin Connor over!
The other day we had Brady and his sister, Charlotte, over and Mommy made bug sandwiches for us boys.  She got the idea from her cousin Sarah in Chicago.  Aren't these funny?
Brady and I weren't quite sure what to think at first.  (Yes, I was having a jammie day.)
 Dismantling the bugs
Mommy and I also did a hammering project, I had the most fun hammering nails into holes in this box.
It takes a lot of concentration.
I wanted to do some painting with my feet, so afterward, Mommy put my feet in the sink to wash them off and was telling me how I used to take baths in the sink when I was a baby.  I wanted to see if I still fit.  Look, Mommy, I do still fit!
One of Max's favorite things to do is put these beads on.  At least a few times a day, he will get these necklaces and put on as many as he can find.  He's so funny!
Today we had a really cool Mommy Adventure to the Marble Factory in Bonner Springs.  We tried to go last Friday and got all the way out there (in a blizzard practically) and they were closed.  I've been counting down the days all week til I got to go.  It was awesome!  It was a big toy store and they made marbles and we got to watch a demonstration.  They used hot fire and it was neat.
After the demo and looking around, I got to fill a tube with my very own marbles that I picked from this wall.  There was a GIANT wall full of marbles of all different colors.  I have not put the marbles down since I got home, but I have to be very careful and only play with them with Mommy and Daddy when Max is asleep because he could choke on them.
Me, my buddy Cooper and my other buddy Brady with our marbles!

Love Me Do

Daddy introduced me to who he says is the greatest band of all times - The Beatles.  This is my new favorite song, we put it on repeat a lot.

Ornery Brothers

Max and I had a movie party!  We got popcorn and watched Monsters Inc.  I love that movie!
Max was really into it too... just for a little while.
One day last week, Mommy said we were going to do a special project painting with celery.
This is what we were supposed to be making, but Max and I had other ideas.  What turned into celery painting, turned into a celery and peanut butter snack, turned into peanut butter painting and eating out of the jar... much more fun!
Look at my messy hands, Max!
I understand your love for peanut butter, Max.
Oops, no one else will want the peanut butter now.
I started making silly faces (bummer I'm kind of blurry) but love how Max is looking at me laughing.
I think it might be straight to the tub, right, Mommy?  Yes!
See I'm still cute even though I'm messy! ;)
What a beautiful weekend, we had a family outing and walk to our neighborhood park.  Watch out, Max has mulch!
Did I mention I'm really into making silly faces?
Love my Mommy and she LOVES me!
The wind gave Max a mohawk!

Max's First Snow

I meant to post this picture with my last post.  This is my brother, Max, outside in the snow for the very first time.  We have not had much of a winter at all, but it did snow one day last week and my brother and I got to play in it.  It only stayed for 1 day.  I loved it, but Max wasn't so sure about it.  I'm still holding out for more snow this winter so we can go sledding!

Special Friends, Family & Occasions

Last weekend, Mommy went to visit her twin friends, Katherine and Elizabeth in Topeka.  She got to spend time with sweet Baby Charlotte, Katherine's new daughter, who was just a month old.  Mommy, Katherine and Elizabeth have been friends since they were my age.  They met at swimming lessons.
 Charlotte's "Nana", Chelle, and GG
Mommy and I made these delicious valentine treats - peanut butter cookies with Dove hearts - SO yummy!  I unwrapped all the hearts (and ate a few too!)
Mommy likes to take pictures of us boys when we are asleep.
When Max and I woke up Valentine's Day morning, Mommy and Daddy had given us "heart attacks" on our bedroom doors.  They wrote us a lot of nice messages.
 Here's Maxy's "heart attack."
This past Friday, we got to go to Topeka for a GG Day!  Max and I were so, so, so excited!  We had fun at the art lab.
We liked drawing on this wall at the art lab, but the highlight of the trip to Topeka was playing ladder ball with GG for at least an hour in the driveway at GG and Poppy's house.  Mommy is so sad she didn't get any pictures of it.  Then when Poppy came home from school, I took off running for him with the biggest hug ever.  I was so excited to see him!
Here's Carey, our sweet, sweet nanny.  Max and I love getting to play with her 2 1/2 days a week!  She came over to hang out with us Friday night cause Mommy and Daddy had a date.
Two peas in a pod, me and Poppy, yes we are.  This was at Grayson's baptism brunch.  Today our littlest cousin, Grayson, got baptized!
Max loved Grayson's special baptism cupcakes.
Mommy and Daddy are honored to be Baby Grayson's godparents.  We all love him so much!
Great Grandpa Don even came from Ellinwood for the special occasion.  Connor and I got to sit in his lap.  Mommy thinks this picture is very funny!

We are blessed for our wonderful family and friends.
