1st Day of 4 Year Preschool

I'm so proud to be a big 4 year old this year at preschool!  I really like my teachers, Mrs. M and Miss M.  They are super nice.  I was really excited to go get donuts with Mommy before school.  That's our first day of school tradition together.  I got in my school clothes so fast knowing I was going to get donuts!  I bet Mommy hopes I'll get dressed that fast every day.  Mommy said it's sure good to see me in my handsome clothes again.  It was hard for me to not be Spiderman.

I had a great first day!  No tears when  Mommy dropped me off and I gave Mommy the biggest hug when she picked me up!  I was excited about getting to look at bugs through a magnifying glass.

Powell Gardens

We've had a really fun Labor Day weekend!  We didn't get pics of most of it - family dinner night with take out from Pei Wei (Max and I love the "chicky chick" there!) and a trip to DQ.  We got to see the Beyers and have brunch at the Bitter's.  We also went to the pool for the last time this season.  Today we went to Powell Gardens and we got lots of pictures there.  We had a blast, it was hot, but we had so much fun and it's very beautiful there!

I'm grabbing Maxy's shirt and telling him to wait up
We found this cute kitty and stopped to pet it
Heading over the bridge to a pirate fort... they were having a "Forts & Fairyhouses" exhibit and had different forts and fairyhouses set up around the park.

Max, the captain
I was in charge of the cannon
Here's another fort called the Ice Haus
I forget what this one was called but it was lime green and had holes all over it.
I asked my Mommy to take a picture of me on this giant bunny... you can only see the bunny's ear in this pic
This fort was like a bee hive

 Stopping for a snack break
And a silly break!  Mommy and Daddy liked this area the best, it was right by the water, very pretty and peaceful
The geese were really loud... honking and honking... Max and I liked waching them.
 I pull my shirt up...
And Max does the same!  (Monkey see, monkey do.)
Our neighbor's friend told us to bring swimsuits for the fountains and it's a good thing we did.  I had a blast playing in them and got all wet.  This was my favorite part!
I even dragged Daddy in with me

 Max liked watching me!

Max got brave and wanted to go in with Daddy!
What a fun family day!!  Powell Gardens is a great place!

Apple Teeth, Shaving Cream and Spiderman Rituals

My cousin, Ben, subscribes me to this cool magazine called Turtle Magazine.  We were flipping through it and I found these "apple teeth" I wanted to make.  Apples, peanut butter and marshmellows... aren't they fun?

Another day last week I also remembered how Mommy let me play with shaving cream on my green table one time.  I asked to do it again.  But this time, Max and I added a messy twist... we started putting it all over our face and in our hair... what a mess!  Mommy said we aren't going to do that again for a while, but Max and I loved it!
Mommy had to spray us off in the sink
Look at my messy brother!
I wear my Spiderman jammies every night and my Spiderman costume everyday.  At night, we must lay out my Spiderman costume on the floor next to my bed as pictured below and it must be exactly like this before I go to sleep each night.

From Mommy...
Cole, we love you more than words could ever say.  I am so proud to be your Mommy and have loved watching you grow and learn so much during your third year.  You went to pre-school for the first time, rode your first big boy bike, became even closer with Max and started playing together a lot more, swam on your own for the first time, got your first wasp sting, became obsessed with Spiderman and you have made us smile every single day.  My heart is full of love for you.  As we say to each other before bed while squeezing hands... "I love you, yes I do, I love you, yes I do!"  Happy 4th Birthday, Cole!
