The Biggest Billy Goat

A couple weeks ago, Max was in the 3 Billy Goats Gruff at preschool and played the part of the Biggest Billy Goat. He is a pretty shy little guy, so I was very proud of him for getting up in front of an audience and remembering his lines.  It was such a cute performance!  GG and Poppy came from Topeka to watch him too!

December Happenings

We went to Gator club a couple weekends ago to watch Daddy's Florida Gators.  The boys looked so cute in their Gator jerseys even if the Gators lost. :)

 Maxy had his buddy, Noah, over for a playdate last week.  Those two little guys sure have fun together!

 We were lucky to get to do our favorite Christmas tradition with GG and Poppy this year... the luminary walk at the Arboretum.  The boys absolutely loved every second of it.  They were so happy to walk through the woods and we did a horse-drawn hayride in the dark for the first time, which was really neat.  It was so cute to see how much they loved it!  It had rained a lot earlier in the day, so there weren't many people there that evening, so that was very nice!

 We saw Santa this past weekend!  The boys did such a great job showing Santa their Christmas lists and sitting on his lap for a picture.  :)  Don't they look cute in their matching holiday outfits from GG?

 On Saturday evening, we drove around the neighborhood in jeeps with Charlie and Mason to look at the Christmas lights. It was Charlie's idea and such a good one!  We may have to make it a December tradition!

 One of our favorite traditions... the boys and I make a gingerbread house each year.  This is our favorite one yet!

Cole Reading!

Cole has started reading books on his own and it's so exciting to see him read!! It's just really all starting to click. I hope he will enjoy reading as much as his mommy!

Christmas decorating and jammies

We decorated the house and got the Christmas tree yesterday.  The boys were so excited to get everything all decorated.  They also got to open these Christmas jammies, so I had to get some pics, of course. :)

Thanksgiving

We had such a nice Thanksgiving!  We loved hosting and started the morning with mimosas (or orange juice and Sprite!)

 Uncle Mark joined us from California.  And GG and Poppy got to be with us too! 

 The boys absolutely looooved playing with Uncle Mark and were especially enthralled by his drone! :)  He flew it at the house and we also went to the park a couple times and he played "chase" with them as they ran around the park and the drone chased them!  The drone only got Maxy once when it kind of landed on his puppy hat and surprised him!

 Daddy fried a turkey as usual!  He loves his turkey frying tradition.  He actually got 2 huge turkey breasts this year, but we only ended up needing one!
