Mother's Day

So as you can tell, I went a little camera crazy on Mother's Day!!!  It was the best day because we just stayed home all day and spent time together as a family which is exactly what I wanted to do.  The boys made me breakfast in bed, we planted the garden and flowers, did the slip n slide and just hung out.  Craig even got Cole and Max to put on nice shirts for a mini "photo shoot" with Mommy, which I got a coupon for in my Mother's Day card. :)  I adore my sweet boys (and their daddy) more than anything and am so blessed to be their mommy!!!!  I realize many of these pics are repetitive but I just love them all. :)

Strawberry Picking, Zoo Field Trip, Field Day

It's been a busy and eventful May!  I wasn't sure we would get in our annual strawberry picking, but I'm so glad we did!  I love how the boys love it every time we go, they are so cute... brought their backpacks and binoculars.
Cole was so excited when a lady gave him this enormous strawberry!

Max had his preschool friend, Devon, over to play one day
I got to go on Cole's first grade zoo field trip!  I got to accompany Cole, Evan and Will around the zoo.  They did a great job and I think we walked the ENTIRE zoo that day!!  The pic below is one Cole wanted me to take of him with the baby gorilla in the background.

Field Day was the day after the zoo field trip.  These 3 guys, Cole, Luke and Finley all tied for the fastest first grade boys. :)

Kindergarten Round-Up and Soccer (Max's first game!)

It's so hard to believe that my littlest love is going to be a kindergartener in the fall.  I still think of him as my little baby.  He did great at round-up.  I could tell he was nervous because he held my hand really tight when we first walked into the building. (I love that he still likes to hold my hand!!!)  He was pretty shy but did fine when they separated us and said he liked it.  He wanted to show me the classroom he was in.  He is going to do full day kindergarten, which I feel a little guilty about since Cole did half day, but he really wants to be there all day with his brother and friends and I know he will do just great. He gets bored easily at home without Cole.  I sure am going to miss him and his big brother!  It will be so quiet with them both at school all day....

Action shots at Cole's soccer game

Max did an awesome job at his first soccer game.  He had a lot of fun (he and Noah can get a little goofy together as you can tell!) but overall he was very focused and even scored 2 goals.  He isn't all that aggressive, but he definitely got in there and did a great job!

Silly big brothers

I don't know how I missed getting the below pics on the blog previously.  These were taken Easter weekend, which was Cole's first game of the season and should have been Max's first game, but he got rained out.  He was so bummed... he's been watching Cole play sports for years and was so excited to have it be his turn!  But he was a good sport about it. :)

This pic above is from the North Star in Topeka, we ate there to celebrate GG's birthday after the first soccer day. :)
