Christmas Day!
We were up early Christmas morning ready to open presents! I think we were done by 7:30am!
First we went to check out stockings to see what Santa left! We helped Murphy open his stocking. We also noticed that Santa and his reindeers ate all the treats we left for them.
Finding Santa presents... for Max, there was a note from Santa with train tracks leading to the basement stairs. When he got down there he found a whole train table with lots of trains set up!
Maxy loves playing with his choo choos and likes going through the tunnels best!
Santa brought me this laser tag game I'd really been wanting! It's awesome and makes really loud noises, which Mommy doesn't like so much.
Then we headed over to Topeka to GG and Poppy's house and our cousins were there too! Grayson, me, Connor and Max.
Taking a break to watch Curious George.
Great Grandpa Don came from Ellinwood too, which made it extra special! Uncle Chris, Great Grandpa Don and Mommy.
Our family with Great Grandpa Don (Daddy had some surgery on his face and was recovering.)
Maxy got this awesome roadster bike from GG and Poppy! It's the coolest bike! I got a shark backpack/suitcase that I take everywhere, we'll have to get some pictures of it.
Great Grandpa Don and his four great grandsons! What a Merry Christmas we had with our family!
Christmas Eve
We had a nice quiet Christmas Eve. We went to Mass and then came home for appetizers. We also got to open one present. We opened our present from Murphy!
He gave us these awesome head lights so we can be explorers!

Snow Day!!!
We had our first snow Wednesday night and I was sooooo excited to see it when I woke up Thursday morning!! I couldn't wait to go outside and wanted to go out before it was even light out. Mommy and Daddy made me wait til about 8am to go out.
I love the snow!
My little brother, Max, has a different opinion. He kept saying, "I'm really scared, I'm really scared, up with Mommy, up with Mommy." He didn't stay out too long.
Daddy and I stayed out quite a while and I helped him shovel.
And made snow angels!
And licked the snow...
And then we cuddled up for a Christmas movie with Mommy.
The next day we met Connor and Grayson at Crown Center to play and had a blast!

This Little Light of Mine
It's hard to see me but I'm the second one in from the left on the top row. I had so much fun singing at my preschool Christmas program!

Merry Activities
We've been doing some special Christmas activities lately. We made Christmas cookies with Mommy and she said we were awesome helpers. I told her, "Mommy, we are like your elves and you are like Santa." Mommy sure thought that was funny (and true!)
Our favorite part of baking is "testing" what comes out of the oven and licking the bowl.
One of the best holiday traditions we have is making a gingerbread house! My favorite candies are the red sour balls on the top of the roof. Max and I had a great time decorating but Mommy made us wait a few days before we could eat it.
My BFF since we were only 2 weeks old, Reid. He came over for a Christmas movie night in our jammies.
On Sunday, our family went to the Plaza for a family date night. We got to see all the beautiful lights and then had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen or CPK (same initials as me!) As we were driving through some neighborhoods on the way to the Plaza that had awesome "Spiderman" web lights strung through the trees, I said, "I wish I had two heads so I could see all the lights!" (I wanted to look to both sides at once.)
I didn't want Mommy to take any more pictures, but she still got the lion hat!
My school Christmas program was Monday night. I had a great time and was not nervous at all. I was looking all around the large gym for my family and as soon as I spotted them, I kept waving and waving. We sang about 4 songs... my favorites were "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "This Little Light of Mine." I was so lucky that GG and Poppy came to watch me too!
Love my G and Pop!!!
We had a really fun art night with Mommy a couple weeks ago and made the two handprint plates at a pottery place. It was just a really nice evening and Max and I did a great job listening to Mommy and making our plates. Mine is the Christmas tree one and Max's is the wreath one. I wanted ours to both say the same thing.
Mommy gets tears in her eyes telling Max and I what a special time of year this is and how amazing it is to her to share it with us.

Jakey Song
My brother Max and I really like the show on Disney Jr. called Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Even my little brother knows all the words to the song like me!
