We've been doing some special Christmas activities lately. We made Christmas cookies with Mommy and she said we were awesome helpers. I told her, "Mommy, we are like your elves and you are like Santa." Mommy sure thought that was funny (and true!)
Our favorite part of baking is "testing" what comes out of the oven and licking the bowl.
One of the best holiday traditions we have is making a gingerbread house! My favorite candies are the red sour balls on the top of the roof. Max and I had a great time decorating but Mommy made us wait a few days before we could eat it.
My BFF since we were only 2 weeks old, Reid. He came over for a Christmas movie night in our jammies.
On Sunday, our family went to the Plaza for a family date night. We got to see all the beautiful lights and then had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen or CPK (same initials as me!) As we were driving through some neighborhoods on the way to the Plaza that had awesome "Spiderman" web lights strung through the trees, I said, "I wish I had two heads so I could see all the lights!" (I wanted to look to both sides at once.)
I didn't want Mommy to take any more pictures, but she still got the lion hat!
My school Christmas program was Monday night. I had a great time and was not nervous at all. I was looking all around the large gym for my family and as soon as I spotted them, I kept waving and waving. We sang about 4 songs... my favorites were "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "This Little Light of Mine." I was so lucky that GG and Poppy came to watch me too!
Love my G and Pop!!!
We had a really fun art night with Mommy a couple weeks ago and made the two handprint plates at a pottery place. It was just a really nice evening and Max and I did a great job listening to Mommy and making our plates. Mine is the Christmas tree one and Max's is the wreath one. I wanted ours to both say the same thing.
Mommy gets tears in her eyes telling Max and I what a special time of year this is and how amazing it is to her to share it with us.
