Carey and Halloween

Mommy is embarking on a new journey with us.  She officially "retired" from work on October 30, although she is still going to do some occasional work for the company she worked for.  This means we won't be seeing our special Carey on a weekly basis anymore.  She's been babysitting for us for over a year now while Mommy works and we just love it when she comes over.  She plays and plays with us all day.  We are hoping we still get to see her often because we will miss her a lot!
 Max and Carey
Maxy, Carey and me... Maxy wasn't cooperating too well for a pic.
Love you, Carey!  Thanks for teaching me about the Jayhawks (even though K-State and Gators are still my favorite) and I'm so glad rolly pollys are your favorite, I'll think of you whenever I'm digging for them.  And Maxy loves it when you have green fingernails and we'll remember how he says "Carey home" when he hears Murphy barking when you arrive at our house.
On Tuesday we had a Halloween parade and party at school.  This is me with my class.
It was a fun party.  Mommy got to come because she was in charge of games.  We did a ring toss over witch hats and a bean bag toss.
Of course we had to make a trick-or-treat stop at our great family friends' house, the Beyers.  Their friend Cooper was over too.  Cooper, Wes, Shelby (the spider for Halloween!), Max, Grayson, Mommy and me.  They sure spoil us.... we got some yummy treats and special Coley cookies that Shelby makes, they are our favorite!
Maxy trick-or-treating with puppy, of course
We went to several houses this year, it was so fun!
Happy Halloween!
