Max is playing his first sport... soccer!! He is doing a little Young Stars soccer program at the community center with Charlotte. It's the same program I did last winter. He is doing a great job. Parents don't come in the gym but can peek in through the window... the coach said that Max is a great listener and is very coordinated at his age. He also kicks with his left foot.

GG Day and Bball
Last week GG came over for "GG Day" and we had such a fun time together! We went to Winstead's, then saw the Lego movie and then GG taught me how to knit! I saw a boy knitting a ball on an Arthur show and told Mommy I wanted to learn how to "sew a ball." Mommy said she knew the perfect teacher... GG. She had lots of patience and I was a quick learner. We made this green ball together!
GG helping Max make a green ball too.
We have so much fun with our GG!
Today I had basketball with my buddies, Cooper and Reid. We sure are learning the game and really starting to get it.
Max and Noah are great sideline supporters! ;)
A few random pictures from the last couple weeks... Maxy's giant valentine sucker.
Big boy playdate at our house... we made sand art... my idea!
I am in a Robotics class at Blue Valley Rec and it's been really cool! We build these moving lego contraptions by following a program on the computer... very neat! The first week we built a boat and last week was an airplane.
Fun dressing up at home... scary pirates...
"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's.... Superman!" I wanted to "make" a Superman costume... this was what we came up with.

Winter Wonderland
We returned home from Florida to a big blizzard the next day! School was cancelled 3 days in a row! So I missed 2 weeks of school between being gone and then the snow days. We sure had fun playing in all the snow, though!
Jack C. came over one snowy day for a playdate. We were having fun being pirates... aargh!!
Last Saturday we went to a really fun Valentine party at Cooper and Noah's house. Their mom sure knows how to throw a party... she's got incredible style!
The cute food/treat table!
Buddies
Maxy eating a donut
And making special valentines!
Max can now write Koshlap all by himself! He didn't even ask Mommy how to spell it or look at anything to write it. (Mommy was having trouble turning the picture the right way.)

Beach Day
The morning we left Orlando, we went "swimming" in the big Jacuzzi pool, which was a lot of fun!
Checking out the "upside down house" in Oralndo
As soon as the sun finally came out... Max and I got hot! :)
Clearwater Beach... we had a beautiful day at the beach building sand castles, looking for seashells and running into the water, even though Mommy and Daddy thought the water was freezing cold!
The stingray raft got one final hoorah. Grandpa got it one of the first times we came to the beach, but it finally got a hole in it last time we were in Florida. Grandpa patched it up, but it still didn't make it. We will have to get another raft next time we go to Florida.
Donna, Mike and Ben met us for lunch at one of our favorite spots, Keegan's, and then joined us at the beach for the afternoon.
Collecting shells!
Max showing me a shell
Building a big sandcastle with Ben
I wrote in the sand, "I love Mommy, I love Daddy, I love Max."
When we left the beach, I ran to tell the water goodbye, the sand goodbye and everything else. It was a day that none of us wanted to end.
