Disney!!

We had really been looking forward to our trip to Florida!  I made this countdown and we marked off each day as we got closer and closer to leaving.  Finally it was time to leave!  Even though we had rain 4 out of the 5 days we were there, it was much warmer than home!

 With Grandma and Grandpa at their house before we left for Orlando to go to Disney.  We drove to Orlando from Grandma and Grandpa's, it only takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there. 

 We were really excited to get to the condo and see our cousin, Ben.  We got to spend two nights in the condo with Ben and his family.  The first night we went out to dinner at Bahama Breeze and then tried to get to bed early to get ready for our big day at Magic Kingdom.  We were pretty wound up and excited and didn't go to bed as early as our mommies and daddies would have liked.

Disney morning!!  We woke up to rain, rain, rain.  Luckily it was a light rain, but enough to keep the crowds away.  Despite drizzle pretty much the whole day and it being a bit chilly, we had a blast!!  Good thing Auntie Donna was prepared with lots of gear.  She let me bowwow a poncho, let Mommy borrow a jacket and also had lots of other supplies.  We were definitely novice Disney goers, so luckily the experts were with us.  :)  Max and I got these special "1st Visit" buttons.

My VERY FIRST RIDE!  I really wanted to do Space Mountain... even though Daddy had prepared me that it was a fast roller coaster in the pitch black dark.  I couldn't wait!  I BARELY made the height requirement.  I went with Daddy and Auntie Donna.  Mommy is really scared of roller coasters and was worried about me.  She didn't want it to ruin my day going on such a scary ride first off.  However, I LOVED it... Daddy and Auntie Donna said I was very calm.  It ended up being my favorite ride of the whole day!  Max and I also loved Peter Pan (of course), It's A Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion.

 We got to see a short show with the Disney characters and were thrilled to see Peter Pan!!  Max kept saying afterward... "I can't believe we saw the real deal Peter Pan!!"

It was an absolutely magical day at Disney.  We were so very lucky to get to be there and have this special time together as a family.  We got to the park when it opened at 9am and left around 5pm.  It was a big day and we were troopers.  As we were walking to the car, Max had fallen asleep and I was humming "It's a Small World."  Mommy and Daddy looked at each other and smiled and said they would remember this day for a long time to come.
