I had the best time with my Kappa friends celebrating our 40th birthdays. We decided over a year ago that we should do a trip together to celebrate and I'm so glad we did. Everyone was so much fun and easy to be with! However, we were not expecting the 13 in historic snowfall in Sedona when we booked the trip! It was a wild winter everywhere and we just couldn't escape the snow and cold. We made it into Phoenix fine, but almost didn't make it up to Sedona because it was in the middle of the storm when we were driving and the interstate was closed just after the exit to Sedona. The first day the entire town was shut down, so we hung out at a beautiful resort, Enchantment, and had a delicious brunch, hiked and had prickly pear margaritas by the fireplace. The next day we did a private wine tour and the last day we spent at the spa. We ate some really amazing meals in between. It was such a relaxing and wonderful trip with friends of more than 20 years who I love!
